Installing Worker-Agent on Windows
To install DataCloud Worker-Agent
1. Log in to Windows as either the Administrator user or a member of the Administrators user group.
2. Download the latest DataCloud Worker-Agent .exe installer from the Agents tab in Integration Manager.
3. Right-click on the installer, choose Run as Administrator, and then click Next.
The installer file name is datacloud-worker-<version>-<build>4.exe.
4. Click Next to begin the installation.
5. Accept the terms of the license agreement.
6. Make changes to the installation path if needed.
7. Make changes to the Port Configuration if needed, ports if needed.
8. Make changes to the license file location if needed.
9. Click Install.
10. The installer extracts the DataCloud Worker-Agent and installs the service.
11. Click Done when the installation is complete.
If you are manually configuring as a standalone worker, you are done with this installation. Go to
Advanced Topics,
Configuring Worker Pools to complete your configuration.
12. If you are installing as an Agent, launch the Agent Settings shortcut on your desktop.
13. Enter your DataCloud credentials, Authorization Server and Control server, then click Register Agent.
After the installation is complete, the agent runs as a Windows service called DataCloud Worker-Agent.
14. Validate that the Agent is registered on DataCloud:
d. Go to the DataCloud dashboard.
e. Click the Agent tab.
f. Validate that the Agent appears in the Agents table.
