Name Server Node
A Name Server node appears in the tree view for each Name Server that is successfully accessed. Every installation of an OpenROAD Server has its own Name Server. Each Name Server has a Local subnode and a Remote subnode (see How You Can Configure Name Servers).
To display SPO JSON configuration file details for a Name Server
Left-click a Name Server tree view node to display these details in the details pane. See Display Name Server Details.
When you right-click the Name Server, a context menu appears. The options on this context menu are:
Open
Disconnects from all OpenROAD Server applications (including Name Servers) and opens the SPO configuration details so that you can edit them. For an explanation of the fields on the details pane, see Display Name Server Details.
In edit mode, options include:
Undo
Click Edit, Undo on the Workbench menu.
Save
Click File, Save, or click the Save toolbar button.
Unregister
Removes the Name Server node and deletes it from the initialization file
View Log
Displays the contents of the Name Server's W4GL log file. You may use the openroad logfiles command to display the names of the W4GL log files generated by OpenROAD.
