Overview
OpenROAD includes the OpenROAD Reporter, a repository-based report writing utility that lets you view or print reports. This report development tool features sophisticated graphic design capabilities. Its graphical interface lets you draw a report using various fonts, colors, geometric shapes, and dynamic images. The graphic designer provides open API capability, a graphical layout editor, and a query editor. After creating a report, you generate it using data from your relational database. Reporter provides multiple database support.
This chapter describes the Reporter window and the basics of configuring a report. It also provides detailed procedures for designing a report and enhancing its appearance.
