What You Need to Know
This appendix describes how to install and configure the Actian X High Availability Option in a Windows Failover Clustering environment.
The information is intended for engineers with extensive knowledge of software and hardware in the cluster environment, including cluster concepts such as high availability (HA), cluster disk, resource types, cluster administration, and failover.
Note:  This appendix assumes knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, Windows Failover Clustering, and Failover Cluster Service. It refers to specific Windows Server 2012 or 2016 Cluster Service procedures. For information on how to use the Microsoft Windows application for cluster administration, refer to your Microsoft Windows documentation.
