Creating and Modifying Attributes for Existing Server Connection Definitions
You create new or modify existing attributes for advanced Server Connection Definitions using the
Attribute Dialog.
Before you can create a new attribute for an existing Server Connection Definition:
• An Actian database must be currently connected.
• The Attributes folder of the Server Connection Definition must be selected in the Instance Explorer.
Before you can modify an existing attribute for a Server Connection Definition:
• An Actian database installation must be currently connected.
• In the Instance Explorer, the attribute node of the Server Connection Definition must be selected in the Attributes folder.
