Attribute Dialog
You use the Attribute dialog to create or modify attributes for an existing Server Connection Definition.

The General page lets you specify new or modify existing attribute information for the Server Connection Definition. It contains the following fields:
Definition Name
(Read-only) Displays the name of the Server Connection Definition
Attribute Name
Specifies the name of the attribute:
authentication_mechanism
encryption_mechanism
encryption_mode
connection_type
compress
This dialog supports the most commonly needed attributes. To specify an attribute not listed here (which is very uncommon), you must use a script (see Run a Script).
Attribute Value
Specifies the value of the attribute
Attribute information is private
Indicates whether the attribute is private. When selected, the attribute is available only to the user who created it. If cleared, the attribute is global, meaning it is available to all users on the local installation.
The Attribute dialog contains the following controls:
OK button
Closes the dialog and saves the changes to the Server Connection Definition attribute
Cancel button
Closes the dialog without saving any changes
