Modify an Attribute for an Existing Server Connection Definition
You modify an existing attribute for an existing Server Connection Definition using the
Modify Attribute dialog (see
Attribute Dialog).
To modify an attribute
1. In the Instance Explorer, open the Server Connection Definitions folder, open the Server Connection Definition you want to modify, and open the Attributes folder.
2. Right-click on the attribute node you want to modify and select Modify on the context menu.
The Modify Attribute dialog opens.
3. Change the attribute name, if desired.
4. Change the attribute value, if desired.
5. Choose whether the attribute should be kept private.
6. Click OK to save your changes.
