Create an Attribute for an Existing Server Connection Definition
You create a new attribute for an existing Server Connection Definition using the
New Attribute dialog (see
Attribute Dialog).
To create an attribute
1. In the Instance Explorer, open the Server Connection Definitions folder, and open the Server Connection Definition you want to modify.
2. Right-click on the Attributes folder and select New Attribute on the context menu.
The New Attribute dialog opens.
3. Specify the name of the attribute.
4. Enter the value for the attribute.
5. Choose whether the attribute should be kept private.
6. Click OK to save your changes.
The attribute is created in the Attributes folder, named according to the following format:
attribute_name = value
