Delete a Location
Deleting a location deletes a name that was assigned to a physical disk location.
Note: You may delete only a data or work location if no currently existing database is using it for storage. You cannot drop
other types of locations (see
Location Dialog).
To delete a location, the Instance Explorer must be
connected to the installation from which you want to delete the location (see
Connect to an Actian Database Instance).
To delete a location
1. In the Instance Explorer, right-click the location node and select Delete from the context menu.
The Delete Location dialog appears.
2. Click OK.
The location is removed from the Locations folder in the Instance Explorer.
