Modify a Location
To modify an alternate location, the Instance Explorer must be
connected to the installation that contains the location you want to modify (see
Connect to an Actian Database Instance). You also must have the MAINTAIN_LOCATIONS permission.
To modify a location
1. In the Instance Explorer, open the Locations folder for a connected installation, right-click the location you want to modify, and select Modify from the context menu.
Note: If the installation is not running, the Locations folder will be overlayed with a red exclamation piont (!).
2. Select or clear which file types the location will be used to store.
3. Click OK.
The location definition is updated.
