Test a Server Connection Definition
You test Server Connection Definitions from the Instance Explorer.
To test a Server Connection Definition
1. Expand the Server Connection Definitions folder for an installation in the Instance Explorer.
2. Right-click a Server Connection Definition node and select Test Connection on the context menu.
The Test Server Connection Definition dialog is opened, and Director tests the node. It then displays a dialog indicating
whether the test was successful (see
Testing a Server Connection Definition).
