Overview
This chapter discusses the components that comprise the OpenROAD Server. The overall goal of the OpenROAD Server is to:
• Let you write your business logic in 4GL, and then share that business logic across a wide variety of clients, including 4GL, COM, Java, and .NET
• Leverage DCOM to support both local and remote clients transparently
• Provide HTTP routing that extends the reach of DCOM securely over HTTP
