System Requirements and Prerequisites
System Requirements: Salesforce
To install and successfully use NetSuite CRM Connector, one of the following versions of Salesforce.com is required:
Unlimited Edition
This edition is Salesforce’s solution for maximizing your success and extending that success across the entire enterprise through the Force.com platform. Unlimited Edition customers benefit from new levels of platform flexibility for managing and sharing all their information on demand. Unlimited Edition includes all Enterprise Edition functionality plus Premier Support, full mobile access, unlimited custom apps, increased storage limits, and more.
Enterprise Edition
This edition is designed to meet the needs of large and complex businesses. Enterprise Edition orgs get advanced customization and administration tools in addition to all the functionality available in Professional Edition that can support large-scale deployments. Enterprise Edition also includes access to the web services API, so you can easily integrate with back-office systems.
Developer Edition
This edition provides access to the Force.com platform and API. A Developer Edition org allows developers to extend the Salesforce system, integrate with other applications, and develop new tools and applications. Developer Edition provides access to many of the features available in Enterprise Edition orgs.
Sandbox Edition
Developer Sandbox: A Developer sandbox is intended for development and testing in an isolated environment. A Developer Sandbox includes a copy of your production org’s configuration (metadata). This is not recommended for configuring and testing the Connector as all of the Apps, workflows, and configurations present in the production environment may not be present here.
Partial Copy Sandbox: A Partial Copy sandbox is intended to be used as a testing environment. This environment includes a copy of your production org’s configuration (metadata) and a sample of your production org’s data as defined by a sandbox template.
Use a Partial Copy sandbox for quality assurance tasks such as user acceptance testing, integration testing, and training.
Full Sandbox (recommended): A Full sandbox is intended for use as a testing environment. Only Full sandboxes support performance testing, load testing, and staging. Full sandboxes are a replica of your production org, including all data, such as object records and attachments, and metadata. The length of the refresh interval makes it difficult to use Full sandboxes for development.
Tip...  To find out what Salesforce edition you currently have, do the following: Log in to Salesforce Instance > Go to Home Tab > If you hover on Browser tab, it will display which edition you are using in Salesforce.
