Re-deploying to Integration Manager
This topic describes how to use the Integration Manager for DataConnect Deployment Wizard to repackage and redeploy packages (.djar files) and job configurations to the Integration Manager for Actian Data Platform.
Only one job configuration can be redeployed at a time. All .djar files for the job configuration are repackaged prior to deployment. If the original server for the configuration is in your list of connections, it is automatically selected when starting the wizard.
Note: If you are deploying for the first time to the Integration Manager for Actian Data Platform, refer to Deploying to Integration Manager for instructions.
The Deployment Wizard prompts users to specify whether to overwrite the original configuration, create a new configuration (in which case users enter a new name), or merge the two configurations.
The Deployment Wizard also allows users to select an Integration Manager connection that was added through the Preferences dialog or create a new connection. An existing endpoint can also be used for quick deployment.

Prerequisites
• The integration must be imported into the Integration Manager for DataConnect current workspace. For more information, see Importing Integration Manager Integrations into a Workspace.
• The Project Explorer elements for the integration must be in the same location as when the package (.djar) was imported. (Otherwise, the integration will break when it’s redeployed.)
• An Integration Manager connection to either a server hosting an Integration Manager installation, or to the Actian Data Platform. For more information, see Defining an Integration Manager Connection.
Note: The Integration Manager instance must be running.
• Integration Manager connections are configured in Preferences. For more information, see Setting Integration Manager Preferences.
IMPORTANT! The deploy to Integration Manager works with Integration Manager version 2.0 or higher only.
To redeploy a jobconfig file to Integration Manager:
1. In Integration Manager Explorer, right-click a .jobconfig file and select Redeploy to Integration Manager.
The Deployment Wizard dialog is displayed with the default connection selected.

) on the Integration Manager Configuration Editor.
) on the Integration Manager Configuration Editor.2. (Optional) Click Edit Connection to open the Manage Integration Manager Connections dialog. From here, you can:
– Add a new Integration Manager connection by clicking the (+) icon and specifying the connection details like Connection name, URL, Username, and Password.
– Edit an existing Integration Manager connection by selecting it and specifying the changed connection details like URL, Username, and Password.
– Delete an existing Integration Manager connection by selecting it and clicking the delete icon.
– Choose a default connection by clicking a connection and selecting the Is Default check box.
– Test your Connection by selecting it and clicking Test Connection. A success message is displayed if the connection is established.
3. Select the Connection to redeploy to and click Next.
4. On the Configuration Deployment screen, choose whether you want to overwrite, replace or merge the configuration:
• Overwrite Config on Server - Select this option if you want to overwrite the configuration on the Integration Manager server.
• Name - Select this option if you do NOT want to overwrite the configuration on the Integration Manager server. Enter a new name for the configuration job.
• Merge workspace macros back into configuration before deployment - Select this option to merge if:
– You imported the configuration macros into your macro definition file during the process of importing the configuration. The configuration macros would have been added to a new macro set containing the same name as your configuration.
AND
– You added new macros locally that you’d like to use in the updated package or configuration you’re about to redeploy.
– Please note that any duplicate macro names (between the local macro set and the configuration macros listed in the .jobconfig file) will default to the values found in the configuration macros
5. Click Finish.
A dialog will appear providing access to the redeploy log file. To view the log file, click View Log.
6. Click Close.
7. Verify that the configuration was redeployed as specified in the Configuration Deployment screen.
Note: The source configuration name and entry point cannot be changed.
