Instance Properties Dialog
You can view instance properties on the Instance Properties dialog. This dialog contains the following pages:

General Page Options
This page contains the following areas and fields:
General Options
This section contains the following fields:
Name
Displays the name of the installation
Current User
Displays the user ID of the current user logged in to the installation
Host Name
Displays the network host name where this instance resides
Instance ID
Displays the two-character identifier for this instance, unique to this host
Instance Location
Displays the base directory for this instance on the host machine (set as II_SYSTEM in the environment)
Connection Information
This section contains the following fields:
JDBC Connect string
Displays the example string that should be used to connect through JDBC
JDBC Driver Class
Displays the class name used for JDBC connections
ODBC Connect string
Displays the example string that should be used to connect through ODBC
Firewall Port Information
This section contains the following fields:
IIMGMTSVR TCP/IP
Displays the management server ports (16902 and others)
JDBC/.NET TCP/IP
Displays the actual (and symbolic) port value used for JDBC and .NET network connections
ODBC/Comm TCP/IP
Displays the actual (and symbolic) port value used for ODBC and other network connections
Version Information
This section contains the following fields:
Extra Version Info
Displays any extra information available about the instance version
Installed Patches
Displays a list of patches installed after the release version, if any
Release String
Indicates the full release string for the instance
Remote Manager Version
Indicates the version string for the Remote Manager Server (iimgmtsvr)
Environment Page Options
This page lists the Ingres environment variables defined at installation time. The values are taken from the symbol table (symbol.tbl). For definitions, see the Ingres documentation.
