Monitoring

In Studio, Monitoring shows you how an AI Analyst is being used. For each AI Analyst in the current Workspace, you can:

  • Browse every conversation users have had with the analyst (Tasks)
  • View aggregate usage statistics over time (Analytics)

Availability

  • Who can do this: members with the Edit capability in the active Workspace.

Who can see Monitoring

Monitoring is available to members who hold the Edit capability in the current Workspace. They see every user's conversations with the analyst, not only their own. The Monitoring button does not appear for members without Edit.

The Editor and Administrator presets grant Edit in the organization's default Workspace. In any other Workspace, Edit must be granted in that Workspace. Organization-level capabilities alone do not give access to Monitoring. See Members and Workspaces.

Monitoring is scoped to the active Workspace. Analysts and conversations from other Workspaces never appear.

Open Monitoring

  1. In Studio, go to AI Analysts and select the analyst you want to inspect.
  2. Click Monitoring in the analyst's header, then choose Tasks or Analytics.

Monitoring opens as a full-width page. Its header shows a breadcrumb (AI Analysts / analyst name / Monitoring) that takes you back to the analyst's configuration. Use the Tasks / Analytics toggle at the top right to switch between the two views.

Test runs

Conversations started from the analyst's Test your analyst panel in Studio are test runs. They are handled differently in each view:

View Test runs
Tasks Listed by default, marked with the Studio test channel icon. Tick Hide test runs in the filters to remove them.
Analytics Always excluded from every number, chart and export.

To learn more about the test panel, see Testing your AI Analyst.
